Welcome Message

Dear Esteemed Colleagues and Guests,

It is my great honor and pleasure to warmly welcome you to the 2026 Yonsei International Nursing Conference (YINC), held in celebration of the 120th anniversary of Yonsei University College of Nursing. This milestone represents more than the passage of time Since 1906; it reflects a proud legacy of dedication, leadership, and service that has shaped nursing education and practice in Korea and beyond.

In a rapidly evolving social and global landscape, this conference offers a timely and meaningful opportunity to reaffirm the leadership of colleges of nursing in cultivating professionals who respond to societal needs and advance health for all. The 2026 YINC brings together nursing leaders, educators, researchers, and practitioners from all around the world to exchange ideas, share insights, and collectively envision future-oriented nursing leadership that drives positive social change and advances nursing science and practice.

The conference holds special significance in featuring a joint session commemorating the 20th anniversary of JBI, symbolizing our shared commitment to evidence-based nursing and to strengthening global partnerships that translate knowledge into meaningful impact.

In addition, the conference will highlight Yonsei Nursing’s research focus, GAINS 2.0—Global and population health, Aging initiatives, Innovation in technology and systems, and Symptom science—providing participants with opportunities to engage in pioneering research and forward-looking initiatives that address the pressing health challenges of our time.

I sincerely welcome you to join us for this momentous gathering as we honor the past, engage the present, and shape the future of nursing together. I look forward to welcoming you to Yonsei University in August 2026.

Warm regards,

Hyeonkyeong Lee, PhD, RN, FAAN
